Power draw in plain numbers
On a 12V system, current is watts divided by volts. A 100-watt heater pulls a little over 8 amps (100 ÷ 12 ≈ 8.3). Check the fuse rating of the socket you plan to use, and don't share that socket with another high-draw device through a splitter.
Which one
- HOTLOGIC Mini if the truck is the only place you'll use it and you want something simple.
- TRAVELISIMO 100W if you also want to plug it into a wall outlet at home or in a motel.

Where this comes from: I haven't used either one. My truck has a microwave, so I reheat meals that way. This comparison is built from the product listings and specs, for drivers who don't have a microwave.
