About TriAmden Cab Gear

TriAmden Cab Gear is written by Clifford Cruickshank, a CDL-A truck driver, under TriAmden Transportation. The site covers gear for living and working in a truck cab: organization, food storage and in-cab cooking.

I spent more than 16 years in the oil and gas industry in Trinidad and Tobago before moving to the United States in December 2016. I started driving in 2017 with Knight Transportation, have since driven for several carriers, and founded my own company, TriAmden Transportation LLC. My runs have been OTR and regional, hauling refrigerated and dry van freight across the country. Today I drive a 2022 Kenworth T680 sleeper.

Years on the road taught me how much the right equipment improves a driver's comfort, efficiency and quality of life. Cab Gear shares practical recommendations and honest opinions based on real trucking experience, not marketing hype.

How we choose products

• We look for gear that solves a real problem drivers have in the cab.
• We describe products from their listings and published specifications, and we say when something needs checking.
• Every review page says whether I've personally used the product. I only describe hands-on use when I have.
